Hello everyone, my name is Dravon Smith (Dra) as I am called. I was born in Shreveport, LA, but raised in Los Angeles, CA. Growing on the Westside of Los Angeles was tough. Although I was raised in the church, I never really had a relationship with God and it led me on a path that a lot of young men go down were I'm from. My mother seen were I was heading and decided to move to Arizona with her eldest sister. While in AZ, nothing changed, I was still doing the same things that I was doing in LA which eventually got me where I didn't want to be. It was not until I relocated to Las Vegas and met my wife now of 9 years, Selina, when I started changing my life around. I started with first getting my GED, right after that I enrolled into a University to purse my degree in Network Systems Administration which I did complete and started working in my choice field which was exciting for me. I found my way back to the church after meeting Pastor Nick in 2014, he was our neighbor. Even then, I was still one foot in and one foot out in my walk. During the pandemic, I was hospitalized, my testimony took a turn, that's when I really started to build that one on one relationship with God. I have been I member of DRM for 1 year 6 months. I just recently started servicing in the ministry and using my gifts for God's Kingdom. I have not been more fulfilled doing anything else.
