Nick Joseph Velasquez, Curbside, Las Vegas Administrator. Co-Pastor of Divine Revelation, Las Vegas Nevada. Born in 1966 in Los Angeles, CA. As an infant, I was raised in South El Monte, CA, and we later moved to Pico Rivera, CA in which later I became involved with drugs and the gangs. I was raised fatherless, due to my father’s life choices in which he ended up in prison for life. Without guide from a father, I too found myself getting involved in a lifestyle that I would most probably have ended up dead at a young age or in prison. I thank God, that by other’s ministering and preaching the gospel to me, I gave my life to Christ in 1985. He became my lord and savior, He immediately delivered me from my addictions of alcohol and drugs. God became my Father, my guide, His word taught me how to be a husband and a father. In our church in Norwalk, CA, I served as an usher for 18 years, I was also a Royal Ranger Commander for 15 years. We lead a home bible study throughout the 18 years, I was involved in the Prison Ministry and was part of an outreach play that was used throughout the new church plants throughout California, and jails As a couple, we answered to call to ministry in 2003. We sold our home, resigned from our district and county jobs and relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada after our ordination. Though it has been a journey and have encountered many valleys but also a lot of mountain tops, we are grateful to God’s faithfulness in our lives as we pastored New Foundation Ministries for 9 years. After having to close our church doors due to personal health issues. We were ordained again in 2015, and launched Curbside Las Vegas, an outreach ministry that feeds the homeless and families. Curbside Las Vegas has served hundreds of people and families throughout the years. We also use this ministry to help other ministries outreach in our local community. We are excited and thankful to our Pastors of DRM for the opportunity to be able to serve and disciple our church family since November 2021.
